Question by Erica: How do I contact a charity to help with me a car?
I am a single mother to an infant and I can’t work because I have no transportation to get a job or to take my child to child care. I lost my house so I’m having to stay with various friends & family & I’ve read that people will donate cars to mothers without transportation but I can’t find an organization to contact.

As the most efficient and effective social and charity program are administered locally, your local place of worship or county services office will likely be able to best put you in-touch with those organizations offering programs for which you may qualify to receive assistance.

This may be one of those opportunities when a traditional search engine query using keywords like charitable, vehicle, donate, and your local town, county or zip code.
